Where Kohei and Nori’s culinary paths crossed. Kohei’s journey led him to mastering Mexican cuisine in Japan, while Nori and Rena’s 14-year Mexican adventure brought them to the Netherlands in 2022. Now, with a blend of Japanese culinary expertise and a shared passion for Mexico, we’re collaborating with Cult=us to bring you a unique experience: Mexican Omakase by Japoneses Chingones. Kohei:
Executive Chef at Hotel Colorit, Fukue Island. After traveling the world for eight years, including two years in Mexico, I developed a unique style blending authentic Mexican techniques with Japanese ingredients. My modern Mexican cuisine respects tradition while adding a touch of Japanese sensibility.

Nori & Rena:
Nori & Rena Aoyagi’s culinary adventure spans continents. Following Nori’s culinary experiences in Central America, they settled in Guanajuato, the heart of Mexico, in 2007. For over a decade, they delighted locals and international tourists with their Japanese deli, crafting unique dishes that blended authentic Japanese culture with the vibrant ingredients of Mexico. In 2022, they embarked on a new chapter in the Netherlands, eager to share their globally inspired cuisine.
